Christmas Time Again

There is one simple way to know that it's time to start gearing up for Christmas. Drive down 410 in San Antonio and look for the big cowboy boots outside Northstar Mall. If they are lit up like they are in the picture below you know two things...1) another Thanksgiving has come and gone and 2) Christmas is right around the corner. I know it's early but Merry Christmas to all and may your holiday season (and the lead up to it) be full of joy and blessings.

Playing with Color and Light

These photos are from a recent trip out to Wimberley, TX. The weather was absolutely perfect and the evening sun was hitting just right. As you roll through "downtown" Wimberley there's a small antique shop just on the left hand side of the road. The colors caught my eye and I had to jump out and rattle off a couple of shots. Wimberley is such a great little town and if you ever make it there stop in the Leaning Pear for lunch and then swing by the Wimberley Pie Company for desert. Some of the best grub you'll ever find.
