Hogfest 2010

This year we were finally able to get "most" of the guys together for a long awaited Hogfest reunion. This year's location was a lake house out at Horseshoe Bay...compliments of Means's in-laws. It's hard to believe that it's been over 10 years since we last did our "annual" reunion, but it was good to do it again. Not everyone was able to make it...ok Chez we'll give you a hall pass this year. I guess protecting the President of the United States of America is a pretty valid excuse.

Things have changed slightly over the last 10 years...bodies, tolerance (drinking that is), marital status, and fatherhood (between just the guys here there's like 13-14 kids now...Wow!!). That being said, some things just don't change. Stories about the perils of football at SWT, cold beer and pool volleyball will always be constant. I have to admit it is nice to be able to afford Dos XXs and Shiner now. The days of Milwaukee's Best and Natural Light...no more. Although Harrell does refuse to let go of the Keystone Light days...there's always one in the group.

Regardless, the weekend was a blast. It was great catching up with everyone and hopefully this will spark an interest to truly make this an annual event going forward. I don't know how we top the Horseshoe Bay location, but I'm sure will manage. Much love!!

San Marcos River

Today Carl and I went out to Rio Vista Park on the San Marcos River and worked on action shots using the manual setting of the camera. These are the highlight shots from the morning. These guys were die hards as it was about 29 degrees outside when they were out there in the river getting after it.
