What a city!!  Here are the highlights from my most recent trip.  Any guess why the Donald picked the location for the new Trump Tower?

Country Music in Chicago???

George Strait, arguably the biggest star in country music, has hit the road again and this time he is bringing along Julianne Hough (Dances with the Stars) and Blake Shelton.  A buddy of mine is currently Blake's tour manager so Jeremy and I flew up for the weekend to catch the show and see the sights of Chi-Town.  Being able to meet up with Kevin gave us "All Access" to the show and some hang out time with Blake, members of the crew as well as some family members.  It was a great night and a great show.  Pictured below is Me, Jeremy, Blake, George Jr. and Kevin.  There were definitely good times in the Windy City!  More pictures from the trip are to come....

SLC CHAMPS

Today the Texas State Bobcats scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to take a 7-6 victory.  The win today earned the Bobcats the 2009 Southland Conference Regular Season Championship.

With the win, Texas State improves to 37-12 overall and 23-6 in league action. They will enter the postseason tournament as the No. 1 overall seed.  The tournament begins May 20th in Corpus Christi.

While I was not able to make today's game...Mother's Day.  I was able to see the Bobcats stick it to Nicholls yesterday afternoon. Coach Fikac snagged me a photo pass for the day and here are a couple of the pics I was able to get.
